without the horse's breed and registered
name, if any.
Due to the extensive research conducted by the ICHR,
we are usually able to determine if a horse has
champagne in its pedigree by recognizing the names
of ancestors we have determined were champagne,
listed in the right column of each
entry in our
stud book.

Big
stocky 15.3 H, gorgeous, 4 yr Gold Champagne mare;
gentle, sweet, and safe for anyone, according to her seller. She’s triple registered and
has been imprinted, desensitized, trained on an extreme obstacle
course, ponied out, ridden on trails, crosses water, and is good
in traffic. She has been ridden on many mountain trails with
difficult terrains all over southern California.
