Charlie_MHI_NAT_2003.jpg (64905 bytes)charlieredone.jpg (32971 bytes)After learning about "Champagnes" through a friend and the ICHR Website, I was lucky to be able to purchase a weanling Miniature Colt by "Tribbles Poncho". My little "Charlie" is a Classic Champagne; his colour is fascinating & vibrant. "Charlie" has been most successful in the show ring, major placings include Miniature Horse International Inc - Pacific Coast Championship Yearling Colt -third place. Miniature Horse International Inc - Miniature National Champion Yearling Colt - third place. Sydney Royal Show - Miniature Colt under two years - first place. "Charlie" will commence his Stud duties this Season (Sept 04 - May 05) We are looking forward to our first "Champagne" foals from October 2005. Please feel free to browse my website (click below) to view my little "Charlie".

Emailing ICHR:  Horse color questions will not be answered without the horse's breed and registered name, if any.  Due to the extensive research conducted by the ICHR, we are usually able to determine if a horse has champagne in its pedigree by recognizing the names of ancestors we have determined were champagne,
listed in the right column of each
entry in our
stud book.
