Artist has an outstanding working pedigree with legendary APHA performance lines. Skips Artist is one of APHA's leading sires of performance horses. Helms Farm (HF) has been a leading APHA breeder for several years. They raise all around horses that great performance show horses. Take Care O Neall won thousands in Ropings before being retired sound at 19.  There is a long line of horses of great disposition in his pedigree. They are quick to learn and very willing to try anything new. Artist has his sire's foundation build. He is thick and heavy muscled. With great bone and correct leg conformation. He is OLW Neg. and, being a very loud sabino overo, he should be an up to 80% paint producer (APHA Journal article).  He will produce foals just like his sire.  He adds muscle and bone to lighter mares. He produce quiet and well mannered foals out of excitable mares. These are the traits that make his sire so desirable in any breeding program.  Artist will put a champagne paint breeder on the map!  Please check out WWW.SnakeWaterFarms.com

Stud fee is $400 and that includes two weeks of mare care or a free collection of shipped semen.

Please be sure you include all requested info in your email.About emailing the ICHR:  Horse color questions cannot be answered without the horse's breed and registered name, if any.  Due to the extensive research conducted by the ICHR, we are usually able to determine if a horse has champagne in its pedigree by recognizing the names of ancestors we have determined were actually champagne.  These champagne sources are listed in the right column of each entry in our stud book!
